Yeah got one in - my foot still hurts lol. Thought I'd be clever and fight without foot & shin guards.
Next stop, EKO National Chamionships in Birmingham in March. I doubt if there will be any trophies in that one but what the hell, I'll give it a go. Need to shed at least a stone in weight before then though.
And yeah, Kane, I was reassured to find that all the adults competing were a similar age to me - I was expecting to get a kicking of some spotty teenagers.
I know Finduz has done Karate and that SK does, but if any of you lot have any interest in martial arts get your backsides down to your local club and give it a try, never too late to start.
