Depends upon your monitor. Most screens run @ 65hz vertical refresh rate, so the screen itself can't actually display more than 65 fps. That's why the option to 'wait for v-sync ' is in the video options. Some screen/video card combinations can produce screen tearing (ever seen a blatant horizontal line that moves top to bottom down your screen with the top portion looking out of place to the bottom) when the frames are dropped.

Obviously the new generations of LCD displays that can run @ 200Hz will see your actual viewed frame rate go up to 200 fps.

It must be because I have blue and red lights on it...they obviously make it run faster

lol, my pc got blue lights only thats the prob, but i thought a 10" fan is worth red AND extra green lights ?

mine had lights but i ripped them out cus they kept attracting my little to the fan on the pc :S

Clearly not good enough...my laptop even has strange emblems on the touch pad which light up in blue and it's got 2 fans.
