So peeps,

What do you guys think about the whole "world ending on 21st December" theory that some people (mostly from US) have been preparing for?!

My daughters boyfriend seems to be heading very quickly towards the view that something will happen,........ I'm still calling him nuts,................

So do we have any hoarders out there? Just wondering where I can travel to in case something does happen! ;p

It's bollocks, the mayan's never predicted the world was going to end, their calendar continues on until like the year 30,000AD.

The date was popularised in the 60s and 70s by a couple of new age authors who wrote a number of books about it being the date for a global "Transformation of consciousness" then it was jumped upon by a bunch of fuckwits as a potential date for their own particular theory of the end of the world to occur and it's snowballed.

The world didn't end during the previous 13 b'ak'tuns it won't this one.

December 22nd is going to be hilarious.

Always welcome at my place if you bring your beer and other bar stuff with. We can try survive together then.
Best finish all the bottles then in case if... It would be catastrophic loosing all those godlike drinks.

ooooooooooooooooook.

religiously i was brought up as a jehovahs witness and was forced to believe the world would end and we will all live in peace and happiness, this will happen cos we are all going to die, god will resurrect those who believe in him........ ( nah bollox muvva, what your drillin in my head is if i stay a jovo im gonna live forever and everyone else will die....utter bollox woman!) yeah so i left when i was old enough to do one.

politically... could frikken do with it to be honest, start in parliment, then the queen, then the police, then the tax office - god will have enough to deal with once youve took all them scumbags.

hpathetically.... who gives two hoots if the world is gonna end we'll be dead so who cares.

no im not stocking up on tinned food and making a shelter in the back garden.

21st december i will either be still xmas shopping or sitting here waiting to end your life on css.
the only thing that can go drastically wrong on that day is the internet infrastructure ceases to exist and ill have to wrap presents instead of play css.
