for a living?

Thought it could be interesting to see what ppls really do for a living.. whats your job, whats your main "tool" to do your job and we all love some pics of THE MAIN TOOL you need @ work..

So ill go first..

As most of you know, around january last year i went away for 7 weeks to get the truckdrivers license, and when i got back home i started in a new job as a truckdriver, delivering small parcel's, everything from clothing to perfume and toys or dental chairs and so on and so on. Then after doing that for about 6 months i went over to drive with containers on the back of my truck, and delivering big goods like a forklift or a boat and stuff like that.. and then, around february this year, the boss asked me if i wanted to start to drive a truck with a crane.. cos one of the two crane drivers we had has quited the job and they needed a new crane driver.. and ofc i said yes so now i drive a Scania truck with a Palfinger crane on it, witch is remotely controlled and i can reach 21m with it :-D .. so i guess that my main tool has to be the crane! but ill give you pics of both since the crane is attached to the truck..

I'm a Biomedical Scientist.
Cutting up bits of people so that we can find out whether you have cancers and suchlike!
Also good for finding cause of death etc.

Main tool would be a microtome, a device for cutting pieces of tissue into ribbons of a thickness of 3 microns (less than half the diameter of a cell nucleus).

Well as most of you know im a Chief Warehousekeeper in an Wholesale for Roofers.

My Main Tool at work is, of course, a Forklift:

Image
This one is used at the Outside, it runs with Diesel and can Lift about 3.5 tons.

Image
This one is for the inside. It runs with electricity and can lift around 2 tons.

Basically you can get everything you need for any kind of Roof and face of a building at our place.
Whatever we don't have at our Warehouse, we can get in no time.
We got 2 Trucks who are delivering the Goods to the Roofers building yards.

What i basically have to do at work:
- Keep the Warehouse clean
- to serve the Customers
- Get the Goods for the Delivery ready and pack it safe
- Organize the whole Road Map for our Truckers
- Controlling of the Warehouse (that means telling my co-workers what they have to do for example)
- Changing Delivery Notes at our PC System if necessary (it's always necessary, around 40-50 each day)

and much more stuff i can't be arsed to mention as well.

WOW.. this actually got really interesting..
Did not know what you did Jason, and i got to say that did NOT expect that...in any way. lol.. not that i had anticipated anything, but that had to be the last thing i had though of.. btw, thr mrs got really interested in knowing more about that(she wants to be doing that)

Chris and Pierre i knew what was doing, and same for Nic when i think about it..

But did not know what you did Steffan.. Is it a big warehouse? Kinda sounds like a job i could be happy with.

Lol Sam.. did not understand much out of that..

Nor did i know that you was a dry liner Ian.. starting to like this tread..
