might be my drivers need updating, i thought i updated them all already:

Right, problem appears to be related to your video card.

Try this:

1: Remove your video card, blow any crap out of the socket and plug it back in.
2: Uninstall the Nvidia drivers completely, then reboot.
3: Let Windoze do whatever it want on reboot regarding the video drivers.
4: Get your backside on the Nvidia website and download then install the latest driver set available from them.

See how that goes.
