ok, i decided to go for AMD...

firstly, is 2100 ram speed better than 1800 ?

which is better, dual channel or quad channel ?

and lastly, anyone got a model to go for please ?
it needs to be AM3+ socket , thats all, but i want an UBER fast future-proof mo-bo....
i got £100 to spend on one.........

btw, intel isnt an option for me .... so no intel fan boy's :P

Many thanks in advance...... thing is, my paypal is messed up, and so i cant draw funds from my paypal acc, so gunna buy a mo-bo off ebay with my monies instead :D

Only thing I know is that the AMD was "designed' for gaming. (Intel more the office/video work). The bad point from the AMD is the temperature that can be too high and then it s game over. Amd in trash can. An Intel continues working.

i you will need a pci-3 card to use it although it will run a pci-2 card at pci-2
I got this mobo to use with a AMD FX8150 Eight Core and it overclocks from 3.6GHz to 4.2GHz with just pushing a button.
you can also use it in crossfire for ATI cards or SLi for nvidia cards. you can add an extra card just to use as a PhysX card
