I saved my whole deployment to be able to come back and buy the truck of my dreams outright. (Gotta love that combat pay and tax free income) It's been in restoration for the past few months and I will be picking it up within the week. It's an 86' Defender 90, 300TDI, 90% restored. (Interior still needs some work, which I will do after I export it to the states)

Nice car tho.. imo could need a restoration of the engine and gear as well... but otherwise, looks good

I'm from the US, and stationed in the UK. I'll be exporting the truck with me when I move back to the states next year.

The engine in the photos was a mock-up motor, It has a new 300TDI/tranny
