I am planning a weekend London with my wife, think half august.
What side of london do i best look for a hotel?

Not sure which side of London would be best but here's some mainly in central London.

Hotel Lily is not central but close to two underground stations which means you could get to anywhere in London easily.

depends if you want cheap to spend more money in london itsself or a fancy pants hotel. just get one close to a tube link or close to kings cross,
went with my lady last year and we decided just to get a cheap hotel which was still nice then we could spend more on west end shows etc

This is the one I use when I go to London, Book it in advance for cheaper prices and it is near for connecting to train stations and most of the tube lines
