I noticed tonight that the quality of my spray has changed....it's lost it's original sharpness and now looks bad and I cant read our web address nor see the silhouette clearly.

The screenshot on the left was taken in game on dustfusion and the one on the right was on a created dust2 where I usually test them out.
Kayz spray below them illustrates the original quality.

I asked Chris to check his but he said it looked allright but it looks bad to me so I dont know if this has occured as a result of CSS updates or it's just me who's seeing a bad image.

Could you please check your sprays for me.

Thanks

yours was fine on the DM server tonight Jenn, i think the problem is your graphics might be set lower than they were.
now i know the game graphics are much improved with the steam updates, it could be that your settings have been changed by the game after the last update.
i had this problem when i set all mine to low before the update and my animated spray changed so much you couldnt read it properly, but everyone else could see it fine.

Thanks wavy...I tried a few changes in the options advanced graphics menu but nothing I did made any difference. Anyway...as long as the spray looks ok to others I'm not fussed.

Edit : I am fussed now because the graphics in general dont look the same as they were.....see pic of the palm tree leaves in toon city..I'm sure they were smooth looking before and not sort of textured looking as they are now.

I dont know what to change...can you help me ?

Edit 2 : My spray looks ok on my desktop PC but the texture on the palm tree is still there so perhaps it's meant to be like that.
Edit 3 : Restored my laptop to 2 days ago and my spray is back to normal

i find that although 800x600 gives approx 10% better fps, its harder to hit thing, because my mouse doesn't have the same amount of pixel movements if ya understand what am sayyin lol, like my 1440x900 had a lot of pixels, so it was easier to aim in on a fine dot on a distant target, but 800x600 i only got about 4 pixels on my screen to finely aim on the head lol :)
if i am not making sense its your fault for reading my post, not mine "!!!!!!

Big thanks to Bob for being patient with me and helping me to download updated drivers for my laptop tonight/this morning.

The jammy dodgers are on order.

I found out why my spray looked fuzzy...I changed texture detail in options/advanced to high from medium and now it looks like it should.
