Just booked a couple of holidays here in the UK and that got me to thinking.
There's a wealth of information available from the members here for the places that they live in, eg things to see and do around the UK and beyond.

We could post topics of places of interest, eg I live in Warwick, so could post a blurb about Warwick Castle.

We could also make request topics for places we are going to visit, eg, someone else may have also visited that area and could post something about somewhere they have been, might help people have ideas for places to go on their holidays.

I know I'm rambling but lets see if this proves useful?

We love Warwick castle..been there 3 times.

If somebody wants to visit Belgium, I have some info about musea (war, railroad, castles, cars, army,...), some cities (Brussels, Ghent, ...) and some zoo.
And of course the abbeys where they make cheese and beer (Trappist).

Im from Sheffield....Steel works? Haha.

I'm from Sheffield, General lies steelworks are closing down all over place lol. but we do have....

trebor/basset/cadbury. cant go in but smells nice.
peace gardens..... a blissfull pace of relaxation where the homeless/drunks/chavs/dole scroungers spend their day.
mosques........ popping up allover the place.
sheffield train station- looks beautiful lit up at night - just keep hold of your purse.
not much going for it really cos they keep taking away the very things that make Sheffield - Sheffield.

its a run down dump that the council seem to have forgotton about, we are now more famouse for our pothole roads!!!!!! no kidding- google it.
