Man down,
I upgraded to a water cooler system, but to be honest I'm just freaking out that it will leak, so I've completely stripped it back to components,
Ordered a new case and new cooler along with some new fancy bits like touch screen fan controller ect......

I should be back up and running by the weekend or thereabouts

LOL that's one of the hazards of a water cooled system i know I've been there done that, It was working great for around 2 years until it developed a leak( cracked water block) and took out my 2 graphics cards ( SLI) I was lucky that it didn't take out the mobo as well. I now run with a corsair H80 all in one

LOL, is your water cooler a sealed unit Gav, or is it a self assemble system ?

Also, i'd have thought the fluid they fill them with would be a non-electrical-conductive liquid ? seems a bit daft to fill them with normal coolant, as a leak would be VERY dangerous!

I was using the h60 sealed unit, but and its a big BUT,
The first H60 that turned up I took out the box and the bloody thing had one of the pipes burst off the connector- they replaced it of course - but just never felt safe,
So I just ordered the cooler master v8
Looks like a nice bit of kit:

So while I was at it I ordered the cooler master storm enforcer:

Which is a lot cheaper than my Antec 1200 but being 6 year old the cooler master is much more advanced :-)

I'm still waiting on delivery buddy - should only take me 30mins ish to build it once it arrives,
Temps with the water cooler were 19idle to 49 under load

So I'll let you know how it works out with the air cooler :-)
