 Post subject: not so much away

I have to do a clean install of steam due to CSS locking up my pc and no matter what i do it won't fix it.
backed up my TDU2 gamesave........ but not looking forward to downloading 700gb of games again :(

can ya not drag n drop steam games onto another HDD ? and copy em back over once ya re-installed steam ?

i've uninstalled and reinstalled so many times and used my steamapps folder backup but the prob still happens, I guess the prob is with the steamapps folder.
reinstalled source and it works fine after a fresh steam install, i will just add my maps over from the backup.

ahh k, also,. i think every PC benefits from a full re-install every 12 months or so, i tend to gather so many DL's which i never play on/use any more, pointless in having it all on yer pc, i mean, like all yer games, i only have about 20% of all my steam games installed now, as all the others have passed their sell-by-date lol, old shit i no longer play on ;P

I should be back to normal now, steam is working with no probs and the important games are installed.
The issues i had could be linked to using a windows vista steamapps backup with an install of win 7
