the orange color looks bad in dust maps, i found depending what resolution you use it becomes more like orange yellow very bright, (not in a nice way bright) looks like a picture with white balance miles out. oh well..

as you can see in the jpeg i converted thats what it looks like, when i have my screen set to normal lcd in css

I can confirm what Bob said....the orange appears yellow in bright areas. I tried a couple of things to try and up the opacity but it seems to be a problem with that and similar shades of orange and indeed any light colours. I think it might happen to a certain extent with all the colours due to their transparent nature which I used in order to acheive a faded edge.

Looks like we either have to live with it or change the orange to a darker colour or use opaque non faded edge circles.

you use opaque circles and blur out the edges it looks efectively the same

Tried that and also a solid orange with no fade but even when backed with other colours the orange still turns yellow in bright areas so I'm running out of ideas.


EDIT
As you can see from the following solid colour pics...the orange is the main problem followed by the dark red but all the colours tend to appear somewhat lighter when sprayed on bright backgrounds.

could always scrap them sprays and start again jen ..............
