Hi guys, I tried to turn my laptop on a couple of days ago and it started making a very strange noise from the internals like a beeping noise and that would happen for around 10-15 seconds before stopping and coming up with a message on-screen that reads "Operating system cannot be found". I'm fairly sure that this means it's completely bollocksed but was wondering if anyone knew if there was a fix for this or any information to help me out rather than sending it off to the PC world people for £60 straight off the bat :/

Surely you have a local PC repair shop, mine failed too some months ago and they fitted and new HDD (not SSD) for about £80 and put the OS back on for me.
