So, i'm thinking i need a new HDD, i currently have an SSD with os on it etc, and everything else is on my old 600gb HDD. I'm going to get a new HDD to put Steam/Origin/etc on it and the keep my old 600gb one for everything else, and maybe get another smaller one in the future just to back up work stuff/holiday pics etc. I was wondering should i be getting a SATA III ? Here's one i been looking at: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/1tb-seag ... rpm-pc-mac Here's the page of them all on : http://www.scan.co.uk/shop/computer-har ... es-int/all Any help/info/advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance |

Have a look at the hybrid hdd's as they will give you faster access although they are slightly more expensive oops didn't check out your links |

The biggest one you can get for your price range is going to be the best option. Just need to make sure its compatible =D. |

DOES YOUR MOTHERBOARD SUPPORT SATA 111???????????????????????? if yes then western digital are the best ones, seagate are tempremental and prone to just breaking - we have never had a prob with western digital hdd's but have with seagate. if your motherboard does not support sata 3 then you cant put in a sata 3 hdd unless you buy a new mobo. |
