I did the gpu test and it crashed the pc.the temperature went up pretty quickly, got to around the 100 oc mark and shut off. The fans didn't go above 60%. It's there anything I can do to fix it or will I need to replace the gpu? Thanks for the advice

Thats a high end one, maybe buy a £10 first and see if it is just the fan/cooling issue and not a gpu card problem.
I'm guessing these add-on fan thingy's will be able to power off your mo-bo with a fan speed controller so even if yer gpu's fan speed controller is goosed ya could try that ? or go for an air cooler ?
