Hi guys, got my boy a pc for xmas and couldn't really afford much. This is it https://novabench.com/view/1654717 What part do i need to upgrade first to make it run a bit faster? Its lagging quite bad in fortnite |

Hi Royd, Not an expert by no means but looking at the Novabench marks, both the CPU and GPU need upgrading to get to a mid level machine, currently it is equivalent to a budget laptop. Saying that you have used an AM4 mobo so that allows you to upgrade to a Ryzen CPU, for me I would start that way as this will be cheaper than the outlay for a new GPU. Hi Royd. you could try upping your RAM 1st. I done this years ago and my PC went a hell of a lot faster. Its a cheaper way to get more out of It. If you can afford the extra's that Cali said then go for IT but I would do the RAM 1st |
