lol yer, shame jenneh bought her new one (or mike bought his new one and jenneh stole it off him :P ), coz i think she likes laptops. But personally i don't like laptops, and if i got one it would have to be brand new............ i dont like the idea of someone else watching porn on it and pressing the keys with their free hand lol................. but seriously if i was spending that much money i'd buy a lower model in brand new, same with pc parts off ebay, ya might save 25% on price, but don't know if its been dropped/damaged/hammered.

so yer, as bob sed, i ain't interested coz it's got a 1k price tag lol, and i dont like laptops :)

was thinking the same lol! If i spent £1500 on a laptop, there would be no way it would get dropped/damaged or hammered and as for sticky keys: lol, just lol!
I considered buying an alienware laptop when i worked on the ships, value for money? well depends on how serious you are about gaming and if you miss it when you work away from home for weeks at a time. If i had the cash i would definately think about it. It's still under warranty so no issues with it being defective.

Racer-x have you got a m11x by any chance? my m11x has the same cpu and gpu as in your sig.
Just look on youtube for videos :)
I ran the beta version and it was awesome! really smooth nice game play. cant remember if i ran it at 900 or 720 resolution wise but the rest was max'd other than aa and af.
But on youtube there are people supposedly running it on max settings with a fps of 25-30.
You can also OC the graphic card which does improve game play and fps count. I run MW3 on max settings other than aa and af they on like x2 or something.

Yep, bought it about a week before they released the version with core i5/i7 -.-

due an upgrade soon though, I figure if i find a laptop that can run BF3 well then it should be powerful enough to last me a few years :)

Yeah same with me, I still have the m11x (take it with me on holiday etc not for gaming lol) and for what it is its great but i found it a little small for gaming.
So i got a m15x lol which then i found a little too big :/ then i heard about the m14x being released :DD and for me its the perfect size.
Im not just saying this but there is a massive difference between the m11x and 14x performance wise!
Have you tried to run BF3 on the m11x?

I tried in the beta and it started off running ok but once there's a lot of stuff going on it started to bog down and stutter a lot.

I'm 95% sure it's because of the cpu being kinda week.

So far its one of the only 2 games this things struggled with.
