yea just letting you all know that till the weather cools down i won't be playing like i used to
right now on the hot days if i play a game for 20 minutes i have to close down because my laptop starts to overheat
i should still be playing about every day but well it's just not fun when i have to leave so soon so most of the time i lose interest in rejoining after the laptop cools down
but this post might be redundand seeign as they are predicting cooler weather from tomorow onwards

I had to add an extra fan underneath my CPU and that is with liquid cooling!
Also added another large intake and an exhaust fan, It's been so hot here

My pc been running warm too tbh, almost tried rigging a motorcycle radiator up to my cpu water cooler, just to keep things cooler, but I panicked about maybe the pump I have wouldn't cope with moving that much water.

Its an old post, i know, but i can't resist commenting on this one :)
Assuming you hook up the intake of your pump to the outlet of the radiator (at the bottom) and the heated fluids are pumped to the top of the radiator, i don't see any reason why your pump would have any issues. I can't imagine the pump won't be able to overcome the 40cm water column to the top of the radiator. It would be much the same if you had a large tower pc casing (if the hight of the radiator turns out to be an issue, you can always mount it horizontally :) ). It's the capacity of the pump that determines the flow of liquid, not the size of the radiator, in fact, a larger radiator probably means bigger channels, so less friction.

If you are willing/able to spend money on water cooling, you might consider looking at a new cpu with a lower tdp. I have an i5 3450 (77W) that's air cooled (stock cooler even) and i haven't had any issues with overheating during the summer. 8-)

well, i kinda want to try and make my own cpu cooler, just use the heatsink i got on my kuhler 620, and just swap the radiator for a big one :)

also still thinking about just sitting the whole lot in mineral oil :) i've never seen one before in real life, and it make a LOT of sense to me :)
