Probably because the driver can't figure out how to drive in the snow, or was dumb enough to buy an automatic. If you've got rear wheel drive, you can use the handbrake against the torque to stop wheel spin - unless you're a lazy shite that can't be bothered to change gear for themselves. |

besides, even 4 wheel drive cars are shite in snow if they have them wide ass low profile sports tyres on, a 2 wheel drive with snow chains on would beat it  * got a feeling i shouldnt have started this debate LOL
