Uses GPS and number plate recognition to calculate avarage speed over longer distances than current cameras

Thing is, GPS is hackable. So you should either get a low powered GPS jammer for your car/bike to confuse the system or claim in court that GPS is an unreliable source for timing information because it could have been hacked.

we already got the same type of s**t in test over FR roads,
2 cameras takes pictures and record time between 2 points from 5 to 50 km and calculate your average speed on that part of the road, standard being calculated with speed limits, works even if you have to cross a town or something ...

just fekkin RIDE LIKE AN IDIOT, then pull over just before the next camera, and go back to the first one :) or stop just before the second one and have a few beers to kill a bit of time :)

this is just a small box they place behind road signs

One of the great things about how fucking stupid UK law is, is that all speed cameras have to be painted yellow and visible, otherwise they are supposedly illegal. Makes me chuckle.
