so as the title says i'm not sure where i should have posted this so i thought why not general stuff
anyway i know i haven't been that active but decided to come here to ask you all for advice since i somewhat "trust" your guys judgment (how foolish of me)

ok so i'm having more and more problems with my laptop when it comes to gaming, the laptop works fine but for some games it's gettign too outdated, though other newer games can be played fine

i was looking at alienware laptops for a possible replacement but i'm not that good with the specs so i'm not sure at what's powerfull, what's outdated, and what's overpriced

any advice for me? even if you can't sugjest a good one all advice for what too watch out for when buying a laptop would be a great help

It is not easy to give advice for laptops.
For me, the alienware 13 is comparable with the Medion erazer P7643 and the Acer Aspire VN7-571G-58JK.
Only thing is for the alienware you pay 200-250 euros more.

So I suggest look at the processor and the graphic card, these things are not easy to replace in a laptop. The other things (memory, HD) are more easy to replace and upgrade. This is my experience with my Dell laptop.

Just my opinion...

:noob:

Problem with alienware these days is you're paying for a name. Best thing to do is look at an alienware you like, look at the specs then try and match them to a different branded laptop. You will prob save yourself £300 - £400.

Dont get HP's ever there shit af , very faulty units from HP fix them at work all the time , i recommend if you are getting a laptop get a gaming laptop from Acer or get a MSI unit.
