Thats whats on offer today/tommoz

http://www.scan.co.uk/products/1tb-wd-b ... ctId=84472 <--- that is the HDD Evil mentioned.

Also comes with a free migration software thingy (Acronis)

I'm thinking 2 of them and maybe a 500gb cheap HDD to back up all my important stuff. No point in backing up Everything, as most of the stuff i refuse to delete i never use anyways hahah

installed all my HDD's, just need to work out whats going on where now :)

I decided against RAID, my mate says if 1 HDD fails, you loose info on BOTH HDD's, he also said it aint much faster than if i just run them as individual drives.

The object of raid is that you dont lose your data so your mate is talking shit RAID = redundant array inexpensive disks the only way you lose data is if you have raid set to use both disks as seen by your PC as I large disk

read the tut http://www.thegeekstuff.com/2010/08/rai ... -tutorial/

You can move the folders and use symbolic links to make Origin and Uplay think the new location is the current one. Think shortcut for an application....

http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/16226/complete-guide-to-symbolic-links-symlinks-on-windows-or-linux/

I use them for redirecting Public folders in Win7/8

:ugeek:
