lol wtf i just rote a massive essay and its disaperd lol

it was realy long any cut it short now i have a server rent from gameserver.com and its all sorted i no what iam doing i had it in the past before the episode 3 engine ..

i wont to get it right first time adding my self as admin ,and would like to no the right file or script i should put in what ever file it in the ftp . as thers some new files ther this time i not seen before just wont to get it right firt time thats all i hate messing in the ftp when my server dont respond i cry ... lol and thats meens reinstallin lol ye i more orless no what the script with the skins n cfg server logs but the admin i struggled with last time ..i no its just acase of saetting all the flags n my steam id n name .. if some ones familer with this or have used gameservers ftp files ...

ill bob bk after some sleep what if any responce ....thanks stealth introduced me here said some will no ..

You need to edit the clients.txt file in the cfg folder.

You need to add people like this to it :

but when i go to game and type admin in console it says iam not autherised .

this was what my last server was doing and why wanted it right first time ,and is reson i asked for advice .the addvice is correct but what is rong with my script a bouve why its not working .could it be my name a51alienware is not uniqe

in my ftp i using orange box mode yes ..so it goes somet like this

ftp files . / oarange box / css / cstrike/ cfg / mani admin plug in / clients text ..

so my clients text is now

but no joy ..still says admin unautherised ,iam gusing its iver my user name or somthing not just right .

i do rember having this prob a while bk , but then one time it got it and worked untill a update ruined it for me .

ive tryed rearanging my name and all that but it dint work ..i wont mess about no more untill i get a responce .

Did you restart the server after adding the file!

Also, try binding a key to admin and opening the mani menu up in the game (assuming you have eventscripts loaded)

it looks fine to me, gameservers have a new admin, mods and config settings on your personal log in page next to the server info, i think you just have to enter your name and steam id to create a new full admin.
